What you can expect
Launch into a tandem skydive over the Yarra Valley at Lilydale Airport in Yering, Melbourne's closest drop zone and just 45 minutes from the CBD. Your experienced instructor walks you through a thorough safety briefing and straps you into all the gear, then it is time to board and climb hard to 15,000ft over vineyards, farmland and the Dandenong and Yarra Ranges. The door slides open, cold air tears past the frame and you tip out with your instructor into up to 60 seconds of raw freefall, the ground roaring up to meet you.
At 5,000ft the parachute cracks open and the world goes silent, leaving five to seven minutes to drift above cellar doors, paddocks and ridgelines before a gentle landing. All equipment and the APF levy are included, so allow up to four hours and bring the nerve. Strap in and take the leap.

What To Bring
- Participants should wear comfortable clothing with soft soled shoes, avoid high heels and skirts, and dress warmly as it is colder in freefall than on the ground.
Terms And Conditions
- Participants must be 16 years and over
- Participants under 18 years of age require parental authorisation on the day
- Maximum weight limit is 100kg
- Participants over 100kg require a pre jump assessment and are subject to a surcharge payable on the day
- Participants should allow up to four hours to complete the experience, which is normally shorter but can be subject to delay by weather or operational issues
- This experience is not available during the winter season
- In extreme weather conditions the tour may be cancelled if safety is a concern, you will be contacted by the provider and rescheduled
- Spectators are welcome to watch participants board the aircraft and descend
- Bookings are essential
