The adventure was surreal—jumping out of a plane over the iconic Great Ocean Road was the ultimate rush. Freefalling from 15,000ft with the coastline stretching out beneath me felt unreal. The moment the parachute opened, I could take it all in—endless ocean, rugged cliffs, and rolling green hills. Absolutely unforgettable!

The skydive experience begins with a personalised safety briefing and brief scenic flight over the Great Ocean Road. Once you reach elevations of up to 15,000 ft, the plane door opens and you will take the plunge with your tandem skydive instructor. Experience an unforgettable 60 second free fall at speeds up to 220km/hr. Once the canopy opens, soak in the impressive aerial views of the Great Ocean Road on your flight back down to base. This is one of the most picturesque places in Australia to skydive.

Duration

Transfers
- From Southern Cross train station, get a V-Line train to Geelong train station. From Geelong Train Station, get the route 80 bus to Barwon Heads Airport, it takes approximately 30 minutes on the bus, ask your bus driver to notify you of when your stop is coming up.
- Transfers from Melbourne are now available 7 days a week! Customers must contact Skydive Australia to book transfers

- Weather Cancelations:
- If it is deemed to be unsafe to jump, your jump will be postponed and a member of staff will call to inform you and to rebook another date. Please note that if you fail to show on the day and the weather was suitable to jump, you will not be eligible for a refund. Important Information
- Skydiving is 100% weather dependent and there can be delays due to the weather
- Please note this experience is not available on Christmas Day
- For safety reasons, the experience provider needs to be advised if you weigh greater than 94kg. Any client weighing 94kg or more must be assessed by our Drop Zone Safety Officer on site to determine safety issues due to harness size restrictions and weather conditions
- Every customer is weighed as part of the check in procedure, and surcharges will occur and are payable on the day at the rate $55 if over 94kg; $80 if over 105kg and $105 if over 114kg
- Weight surcharges are payable on arrival. Maximum weights vary, depending on the Dropzone. Please check this when making a booking
- By law the minimum age to tandem skydive in Australia is 16 years old. SA must be notified in writing prior to the jump date if a customer is between 16 and 18 years of age and must have parental or legal guardian consent
- Skydive Australia must be notified prior to the jump date of any pre-existing or existing medical conditions, injuries or illnesses. You will also be asked when you check in and may require an assessment from our Safety Officer
- Medical conditions which could affect the customer’s safety should be discussed with a doctor to ensure customers are fit to skydive. If required, bring a medical certificate with you from your doctor confirming you are okay to participate in a skydive
- Please advise the supplier if you are taking prescription medication
- No alcohol or “recreational” drugs are to be consumed within 8 hours prior to the scheduled skydive jump time
Terms And Conditions
- Risk Warning: Your participation in parachuting activities is inherently dangerous and may involve risks. These risks include, but are not limited to those arising from prevailing conditions such as weather or health conditions you may have. Despite careful packing, the parachute may open abruptly or not open correctly which may result in injury. Unintended incidents may occur during the aircraft flight, descent or on landing.
- Parachuting is done at the parachutists' own risk. Any person parachuting, training to parachute, flying in any aircraft being used for parachuting or participating in any activity carried out by Skydive Australia may only do so on the distinct understanding that they do so entirely at their own risk.
Cancellation Policy
- Change your booking up to 24 hours before the start time of your experience
- Changes are not permitted within 24 hours of your experience
- Late arrivals or no shows may result in you forfeiting your experience

Jump was great, the wait time was ridiculous
The jump itself was amazing, however waiting 3 1/2 hours in the heat was ridiculous. The weather was perfect so no delays because of that.
