What you can expect
Experience the rare sight of humpback whales in their natural habitat as they migrate through Hervey Bay on their annual southern migration. Departing Urangan on a spacious, eco-friendly catamaran, enjoy multi level viewing throughout the entire vessel as well as live underwater footage displayed on TV screens so you can observe these majestic mammals from every angle. In this time, you might be lucky enough to see them jump out of the water, slap their tails and fins, or come right up to the boat for a sneaky look! Your expert crew will provide fascinating interpretive commentary which can be translated into German, French, Spanish or Italian, and will answer any questions you might have. The vessel is also equipped with a specialised underwater hydrophone that allows guests to listen to the whales' 'sing' underwater. A tasty morning/afternoon tea and buffet lunch or dinner will be served throughout the journey.

- Being on the water, weather plays a large part in whether this cruise will go ahead or not. Most cancellations occur due to strong winds or storms in the bay. Cancellation due to bad weather is entirely up to the skipper. The provider will let you know at least the day prior to your cruise if there's a possibility of cancelling. In this case, they will give you the option of rescheduling.
