Lovely morning of kayaking

Jules and Hannah were fantastic. They were very careful to look after us, and made the morning all the more enjoyable with their knowledge of the area and their chatty nature. We loved every minute of it. Thanks Jules and Hannah.

A fun experience despite a cloudy day

James, our guide for the day, was safety conscious and really passionate about what we were seeing and experiencing during our kayaking. My wife and I loved his commitment and enjoyment of his work. Although our weather was overcast and waters a little choppy, James found a paddling route that highlighted the beauty of the area whilst protecting us from the weather. Watching sea eagles in flight was a bonus. We both enjoyed the experience.

What you can expect

It’s the ultimate way to explore the spectacular coastline of Coles Bay, beneath the Hazards range. Glide along the water and enjoy the unique perspective provided by sea kayaking. You’ll pass quietly by wildlife and maybe even see a majestic eagle as it soars above. This is a beautiful part of the world, and our expert guides will share stories about its natural features and cultural events.

Learn about the ancient culture of the Oyster Bay tribe, hear tales of French explorers, and discover the history of secluded coves such as Honeymoon Bay. As you glide over seagrass beds and reefs, you’ll enjoy a spectacular view of an underwater world through the crystal-clear waters of the Freycinet Peninsula. Your experience will start with safety tips and a demonstration of sea kayak paddling technique. It won’t take long to master the paddling skills and head out on onto the water in a stable double kayak. Your journey will also take you onto a pristine beach where you will enjoy a tea of fresh brewed coffee and cake before continuing the journey around Coles Bay.
