Thanks Dan for sharing stories of how horses are being looked after at Hunter Valley Horses. Now I learnt that horses are just like human, they need good food and a good break to keep them happy and healthy :) Hunter Valley Horses seem to manage that quite well.

What you can expect
There is nothing more extraordinary than exploring the Hunter Valley on horseback. Suited to the intrepid traveller, this 90-minute ride will take you on an adventure off the beaten track and through the backroads, bushland and farmland of the Hunter Valley. Enjoy one of the best seats in town as you ride briskly through unspoiled trails, and discover unrivalled views that traditional travellers won't get to experience.
You will be provided with safety equipment and briefed on horse riding basics by fully qualified instructors to ensure your adventure is highly enjoyable. This is a must if you are craving something unforgettable and out of the ordinary in the Hunter Valley.

- Your guides will aim to take photos along the ride and these are available to you free-of-charge by air-drop at the end of your session

- This experience is 90 minutes in duration
- Please arrive 30 minutes before your ride to complete check-in, helmet fitting and a brief horse riding lesson

What To Bring
- Please wear suitable clothing such as long pants and sleeved shirts
- Enclosed shoes
Terms And Conditions
- Please arrive 30 minutes prior to allow time for waivers, helmet fitting, riding instructions and mounting
- Please bring your booking reference order number with you on the day
- Minimum age is 13 years
- Children must be accompanied by a parent or guardian
- Maximum weight limit is 110kg for the welfare of the horses
- Must not be recovering from surgery, pregnant or have a recent injury
- This is a group ride at walking pace
Cancellation Policy
- Change your booking up to 48 hours before the start time of your experience
- Changes are not permitted within 48 hours of your experience
- Late arrivals or no shows may result in you forfeiting your experience
