Great experience, didn?t enjoy packing up
The balloon ride was incredible, we were above the clouds and got a glimpse of the sun rising. I?ve dropped a star because at the end of the ride all participants were asked to help pack up the balloon, which I feel shouldn?t be our responsibility. So be aware, if it?s muddy you might get dirty.

What you can expect
Reach exciting new heights with a hot air ballooning flight over the Hunter Valley, Australia’s oldest wine region. Nothing compares to the feeling of taking off and soaring high above the ground as the rising sun lets you know the day is officially beginning.
Your hot air ballooning adventure takes place over the spectacular Hunter Valley region of New South Wales just 120km north of Sydney. On the morning of your hot air balloon ride, you'll arrive bright and early and be taken through a safety briefing. Then your ballooning adventure really begins! Enjoy breathtaking views of vineyards, mountains and local wildlife as you float through the valley watching the sunrise.
Following your flight of approximately one hour, all passengers return to the Blaxland Inn where you'll enjoy a champagne breakfast to toast your flight.

- Solid shoes as the ground is often unevenly covered with dew in the early morning

Additional Information
- Hot Air Balloon flights take place at sunrise and the flight time will be advised the afternoon before your scheduled flight
Terms And Conditions
- Maximum weight 130kg
- Minimum height 120cm
- You must be able to stand up for the duration of the hot air balloon flight, which is approximately 45-60 minutes
- Please advise of any medical condition that may preclude you from flying such as serious knee, hip or back problems, recent surgeries or broken bones
- Not suitable for those more than 12 weeks pregnant
- The minimum age for this experience is seven (children must be accompanied by a participating adult)
Cancellation Policy
- Changes over 36 hours prior to flight date: non-refundable fee of $25.00 per passenger change fee
- Changes within 36 hours prior to flight date: non-refundable fee of $50.00 per passenger change fee
- Changes after receiving a flight status confirmation message from the provider (day prior before 5:30 PM): non-refundable fee of $100.00 per person
- Any booking altered within 72 hours will be at the discretion of the experience provider and dependent on flight availability
- Cancellations within 72 hours of the flight date: full fare per passenger will be forfeited and will not be refunded
- Cancellations outside of 72 hours of the flight date: cancellation fee of $50.00 per passenger
- Flights will be cancelled if the weather is not suitable to conduct a safe flight (including strong winds, rain, fog or an unstable atmosphere)
