What you can expect
Experience the extreme thrill of aerobatics in this 20-minute adventure flight in a Yak 52 Warbird over the Hunter Valley. Get set for the flight of your life as a professional aerobatics pilot puts the famous aircraft through its paces with you in the cockpit.
Feel the adrenaline rush of the classic aerobatic manoeuvres such as loops, rolls, Immelman turns, Cuban eights, and the stall turn, before cranking it up a notch with snap rolls, flicks, avalanches, vertical rolls and spinning. Don't worry if that sounds like too much adrenaline for you as you will be in constant communication with the pilot via a two-way headset, so if you need to take it slow for a minute or two that's fine - you control the intensity. Take off and see what you can handle!

Inclusions
- 20 minute aerobatic flight in a Yak 52 Warbird (approximate flight time)
- Pre-flight briefing and guided aircraft pre-flight inspection
- Briefing on flight controls
- Authentic flying suit and helmet
- Post flight debriefing
- A DVD of your flight is available (additional cost - must be ordered before your flight)
Duration
- Allow up to two hours for the entire experience in case of small weather delays
Departure Location
- This experience departs from Cessnock Airport or Maitland Airport, NSW.
What To Bring
- Clothing appropriate for the weather on day -dresses and skirts are not suitable
- Rubber soled enclosed footwear
- Camera/video camera - there will be great opportunities to get some amazing shots
- Family and friends can spectate
Additional Information
- Please take note that BY LAW we must inform you that military aircraft are built and tested to different standards than that put forward by the Civil Aviation Safety Administration (CASA) or any equivalent international civil aviation governing body. As such, in accordance with Civil Aviation Safety Regulation Parts 132.140, 150 and 132.155. The design, manufacture and airworthiness of the aircraft are not required to meet the same standard recognised by CASA. The passenger agrees to participate in this flight at his or her own risk. A more detailed briefing will be provided to the passenger before they board the aircraft.
Terms And Conditions
- Minimum age is 16 years
- This is a high intensity adventure so it is recommended that passengers be of good general health
- Maximum height is 198cm
- Maximum weight is 140kg
- Eat regular meals prior to flight, avoid overeating, fruit juices or excessive fluid intake two hours prior to your flight
- Get a good nights sleep and avoid excessive alcohol the night before
Cancellation Policy
- Change your booking up to 48 hours before the start time of your experience
- Changes are not permitted within 48 hours of your experience
- Late arrivals or no-shows may result in you forfeiting your experience
