Helicopter ride then breakfast
It was an amazing experience for us as it was my wife’s first time in a helicopter, the weather wasn’t perfect but the hospitality and breakfast was amazing thanks for everything.
Out and above Hunter Valley
Beautiful day out and above Hunter Valley. Finally getting to use my 50th Birthday present and go for a flight with my wife over hunter Valley and have an amazing lunch at Leogate fine dining restaurant. It was a clear winters day and the views went for ever. Our pilot was calm and clear with his instructions and helped us have a really enjoyable , relaxed flight. Doing the flight around the valley really brought the wineries map to life for us as we picked out the places we knew. Such fun ! Its pretty great standing with the crowd at the restaurant as the helo lands and being the ones to walk out and get in too, hehehe.
What you can expect
Take off on the ultimate hunter valley experience. Start with an exclusive helicopter pick up for an exciting scenic flight, taking in the valleys and vineyards of the region in a luxury Robinson R44 chopper. You will see the vineyards, hunter valley gardens, Broken Back Range and much more on your way to an incredible restaurant for an a la carte champagne breakfast.
When you are ready, you then step back onto the helicopter and to fly back to Cessnock Airport. This is a truly unforgettable day out and a spectacular way to soak up what the Hunter Valley has to offer.

- This experience is for two people
- Return helicopter transfers from Cessnock Airport
- Fly to a vineyard/restaurant
- A la carte champagne breakfast
- Return flight to pick up point
- Total amount of time airborne is 12-15 minutes
- Local hotel and resort pick ups within the Cessnock/Pokolbin/Lovedale area available for a small additional fee. Pick ups from accommodation further afield than the above mentioned catchment area may incur a larger additional fee due to their location - please enquire

Duration
- You will be in the for a total of 12-15 minutes, however allow a couple hours for the whole experience. Available Thursdays to Monday

- Flights depart from Cessnock Airport, Wine Country Drive, Hunter Valley, NSW. 2 hours drive north of Sydney. Follow the signs from the M1 Freeway to Cessnock, Hunter Valley Vineyards
Additional Information
- Maximum per-seat weight 130kg (total combined weight cannot exceed 240kg)
- Maximum combined weight limits apply on flights of 3 or more passengers
- Passengers must notify staff if they have been scuba diving in the past 24 hours
- No selfie sticks allowed on or around Helicopter
- As flying requires a certain level of weather the provider reserves the right to postpone or re-schedule the flight if weather is below minimum safety standards

- Late arrivals or no shows may result in you forfeiting your experience

Couldn't recommend this enough!! A definite to do!
Had an absolutely amazing time! So beautiful flying over the Hunter Valley and having breakfast at an amazing restaurant. Staff were lovely and friendly, was very safe and smooth.
