Surfing is one of the most exciting and beloved sports in Australia, and this beginner surf lesson in Margaret River is the perfect opportunity to master the skills you need to get into it. For two hours you'll combine theory and practice as you get out on the water and catch waves under the guidance of a surf coach.Whether you're a complete beginner or just needing to refresh the basics, the instructors can tailor to your experience level so you get the most out of your surf lesson. First you'll learn about waves, rips, hazards, surfing etiquette and techniques for everything from paddling for a wave to standing up and more. Then it's time to head out for an adventure on the waves. Your surf coach will help you select waves and find your balance and work towards standing up on your board while riding.

Minimum age is 10 years
Children must be able to swim at least 25 metres
You must be over 18 years of age to sign a waiver
Parents/guardians will be required to sign a waiver on their children's behalf

We surf in all weather and surf conditions providing it is safe. If the surf is too big, or the conditions unsafe, then we will reschedule the lesson.
Lessons are mainly run from the pristine Redgate Beach, however, instructors check the swell and wind forecasted for the day of each lesson and it may vary locations to ensure lessons are safe and give everyone the best out of their surfing experience
There will be a maximum of 24 in a group
