Excellent experience! John, the pilot armed with 40 years of flying helicopter experience flew us smoothly around Melbourne city. It was an event for my wife?s birthday, John called me that on her birthday, the weather is suitable to fly, so we need to reschedule it 2 days later. We were so fortunate to have John?s advise as the weather on the birthday turned out to be super worse and the weather 2 days later was best suit for flying with good sunlight, gentle breeze and very clear vision of the sceneries throughout our flight. We thoroughly enjoyed the Permiair flight and the warm service from John!
What you can expect

Meet at the private lounge at Essendon Airport just 20 minutes from Melbourne CBD, and you'll have time for a safety briefing and photos before take off. During your flight you can enjoy the helicopter's luxury interior and Bose noise cancelling headsets, as you admire the breathtaking views out the window.
Your flight will head south past Flemington Racecourse to Port Melbourne Beach, before tracking the coastal sights to Luna Park in St Kilda. From there, you'll turn north and fly over Albert Park Lake, St Kilda Road, Royal Botanic Gardens, AAMI Park, Melbourne Park and the MCG. Then circuit around Melbourne's spectacular CBD and along the Yarra River past Eureka Tower and Australia 108.

- Phones and cameras are allowed however large bags should be left with staff in the .lounge
- Passengers with physical and/or mental disabilities must book on private flights and be accompanied by a carer in and around the helicopter.

- Maximum passenger weight for Private Flights is 125 kg per passenger
- Maximum combined weight of all passengers is 270 kg
