Excellent beer brewing experience
I bought this experience for my boyfriend’s birthday and we had the best time. You choose which beer you’d like to make from a long menu and the friendly owners take you through each step. It’s hands on and interactive. You learn so much about the end-to-end beer brewing process, including the role of each ingredient, how filtration works, and storage. During your experience you can order a drink from the bar to enjoy while you brew your beer or cider. You get to come back a few weeks later once it’s finished brewing to bottle it yourself using a machine, either in cans or bottles. You can even choose to make your own label for your beers. I think it’s really good value for a great experience plus 24 litres of beer. I’d highly recommend this experience, plus we got to do it together which was so good because I was initially worried we’d have to get two tickets and make 48 litres, but we could do the one experience together.

Absolutely the best way to stock the beer fridge and make a brew that suited my own taste :-) Two thumbs up for The Beer Factory - Melbourne. Just need to return to bottle my cider.
What you can expect
Have you ever dreamt of making your own beer or cider? This is your chance not only the learn how, but to produce a brew under the guidance of one of Melbourne’s best micro-breweries. As you join the Master Brew Class, you’ll be able to choose from more than 30 delicious recipes to come up with your drink of choice. In a hands-on experience, you’ll collect the ingredients needed, add the hops and mix the yeast – all guided by the experts – as you make your own chemical- and preservative-free beer while listening to great tunes and, of course, sampling some local brews. You’ll come back two weeks later to bottle, can or keg 25 litres of your own creation. DIY never tasted so good.

Had a great time - had a one on one beer making sesh (incidentally) and learnt so much! Enjoyed some tasty beers and ciders during the brew too :D Was a bday prezzie for my partner, and feel this was a great alternative to more objects that we don’t need around the house! Thanks guys.
