Engaging and Eye opening
Well organised, interesting and balanced classroom and driving sections. Very friendly staff, made special effort to know everyone's names in their groups. Great to feel and understand how a car behaves under full braking in controlled conditions. Really should be a requirement for all new drivers to experience. Hoping to do the next level again at some point. As the driving is performed in the Sandown spectator carpark, this really could take place anywhere but cool to visit the site anyway.

I bought this for my new learner driver who had only completed 2hours of driving practice prior to this course. We both learnt so much about our vehicle and its breaking capabilities. This really is a must do for everybody, and should be part of a driving program required for all Learner and P plate drivers.

Using your own car, you'll engage in both theoretical and hands-on lessons that benefit drivers of all experience levels, from novices learning essential skills to seasoned drivers refining habits and improving judgment.
The interactive classroom component covers critical topics like vehicle dynamics, safety systems, defensive driving techniques, road laws, and managing risks like fatigue and distractions.
Practical sessions focus on mastering car control, braking, reaction times, and handling emergencies, empowering you to become a safer, more confident, and proactive driver.

- Your own vehicle with a full tank of fuel, optimal tyre pressures, water and oil levels.

Additional Information
- Please do not bring family or friends as spectators are not permitted
- Please inflate your car's tyres to 40psi (or the recommended level for light commercials) before you arrive - there is no facility to inflate tyres.
- Please remove unrestrained items from your car.
Terms And Conditions
- The Level 1 course is suited to L and P plate drivers and for regular passenger vehicles (including four-wheel drives and light commercial vehicles)
- All participants must present their current driver's licence ('P' plate or above) in order to participate
- Learner drivers are accepted provided they have a licensed driver with them at all times
- No particular level of fitness or experience is required
- Not suitable for pregnant women
Cancellation Policy
- Change your booking up to 7 days before the start time of your experience
- Changes are not permitted within 7 days of your experience
- Late arrivals or no shows may result in you forfeiting your experience

Limited Driving Area but Friendly Staff
The driving space was relatively small, making it challenging to attain the necessary speed for braking, and there were restrictions on the variety of maneuvers practiced. The staff, however, were friendly and generally well-informed.
