What you can expect
Test your determination and challenge yourself on this great one day rockclimbing abseiling adventure. Rock climbing is the ultimate mental and physical outdoor activity. Nothing else will matter to you on the rock face except where you are going to put your next foot or hand grip. Rock climbing is about concentration, agility and commitment. Abseiling and Rockclimbing takes place west of Melbourne in the Brisbane Ranges or You Yangs, about 60 minutes from Melbourne. During the course of the day you will be taught the fundamentals of abseiling and once you feel confident with these skills, you will have the option of attempting forward abseiling. A whole new perspective of the world is realised as you lean over the edge of a cliff, parallel to the ground below. Part of this adventure is also dedicated to learning how to rock climb. You learn at your own pace in an atmosphere that allows you to challenge yourself to a level you are comfortable with. Of course, our guides will encourage you to push your limits so that you can gain the most out of your day.

Seasons
- From December to June, this experience takes place in the Brisbane Ranges (Staughton Vale). During the months of July to November, The You Yangs is the alternative climb/abseil site.
Operating Hours
- Please meet at the Arts Centre on St Kilda Rd, Melbourne at 8.30am for pick up.
Hotel Pickup
- Complimentary transfers from The Arts Centre in Melbourne are included. If you wish to make your own way there, please phone KAYKAZE Adventure Experience office on 03 9557 8875 to arrange an alternative meeting location and time.
What To Bring
- Light weight, non-restrictive clothing and footwear, 3/4 pants, t-shirt and sandshoes are recommended
- A warm jacket - the weather can change dramatically in the mountains
- Wet weather gear
- Water bottle
- Sunscreen and a hat or beanie

Terms And Conditions
- No experience is necessary
- A reasonable level of fitness is required to participate but no previous experience is necessary.
- If you have any medical conditions or dietary requirements that may be relevant please inform the Adrenalin Crew at time of booking and again your guides prior to the trip
- Minimum age is 10 years when accompanied by a parent. When no parent is present minimum age is 16 years . Parents are welcome to just come as spectators for $35 including transport from Melbourne City.
- Rockclimbing and abseiling are best done when the weather is kind. The Parks do not permit entry on days of Total Fire Ban, and we discourage participation if it is over 32C. Wet and windy weather is also not desirable for your big day out. We always hope for good weather and reconfirm the trip with you a few days prior to your date, when the weather forecast is available.

- Change your booking up to 7 days before the start time of your experience
- Changes are not permitted within 7 days of your experience
- Late arrivals or no shows may result in you forfeiting your experience

I have already started recommending this activity to others, it was a great experience! I've always felt a bit nervous about rock climbing and never thought I would do it, but this day showed me how much fun it is. It is terrific to get to the top of the wall!
