The experience was wonderful. Unfortunately, we didn't get to see any whales under the water on the day we went out, however, there was loads of activity on the surface with whales, dolphins and a turtle. The crew on the boat are awesome and keep you updated all day on where to sight the whales and when it's safe to get in the water. As with all wildlife encounters, everything is on their terms and you need to be ok with that.

Departure Location

Please meet at Sunreef Mooloolaba, located at The Wharf, Parkyn Parade, Mooloolaba, QLD 4557. Please allow plenty of time to find a park as there are time restrictions in place.

What To Bring

Sensible, flat soled shoes - runners are perfect
A hat and jacket are a good idea as it can get quite cold
If you are prone to sea sickness we advise you seek advise from a chemist before the cruise

Additional Information

Participants can be changed at any point provided they meet the tour guidelines.
Maximum of 120 participants on board.
In the event of rain or inclement weather, this experience will still go ahead unless otherwise contacted by the experience provider. All bookings will receive an email and text message at 3:30pm the afternoon before the scheduled tour, in regards to sea conditions. This will be either confirming the tour, or cancelling if the conditions are unsuitable and unsafe. If you do not receive a message by 4pm, please call the office.
Unfortunately, we are not wheelchair accessible
If whales are not spotted on a whale watching tour, each passenger will be given the option to take another whale watching tour during the same whale watching season.

Terms And Conditions

Infants and children under 4 years can travel for free, however it is not recommended to bring small children on the cruise in case of seasickness
If you are travelling with an infant, please advise experience provider at time of booking as accurate passenger numbers are essential
If you are pregnant, have recently visited hospital or have a pre-existing medical condition please consult your GP prior to cruising
Adult voucher valid for anyone aged 15 and over
Child voucher valid for anyone aged 4 - 14 years old
Anyone who is pregnant or trying to fall pregnant is unable to participate in this experience

Cancellation Policy

Change your booking up to 72 hours before the start time of your experience
Changes are not permitted within 72 hours of your experience
Late arrivals or no shows may result in you forfeiting your experience
There are no refunds for seasickness. We highly advise purchasing seasickness medication onboard at the bar prior to departure
