What you can expect
There is nothing like the feeling of jumping out of a plane. Take the leap with your own tandem skydiving jump over Newcastle and see for yourself. As far as extreme sports go, skydiving is definitely one of the highest, fastest, and most thrilling out there. You’ll be jumping from epic heights of up to 15,000ft, safely strapped to your experienced and professional tandem instructor. Countdown together then prepare to be plunged into freefall for up to 60 seconds at exhilarating speeds of about 200km/h.
You’ll be flying through the air over a pristine Newcastle beach with the most incredible views all around you. Enjoy the initial rush of speeding towards the coastline below, then sit back and soak up the peaceful canopy ride once your parachute has been deployed. The aerial views of the lakes and beaches of Newcastle combined with the thrill of falling make this experience unbeatable. Plus, there’s nothing more to pay on the day, as your Australian Parachute Federation Levy is included in the price.

Terms And Conditions
- Maximum weight is 115kg, surcharges apply from 95kg. Anyone weighing more than 95kg will be subject to a safety assessment on the day
- Maximum weight limits vary by Drop Zone—please confirm when booking.
- Participants must be 16 years and over. If you are under 18 years, you must have a legal guardian attend to sign paperwork
- No alcohol or recreational drugs are to be consumed at least eight hours before your skydive
- Risk Warning: Your participation in parachuting activities is inherently dangerous and may involve risks. These risks include, but are not limited to those arising from prevailing conditions such as weather or health conditions you may have. Despite careful packing, the parachute may open abruptly or not open correctly which may result in injury. Unintended incidents may occur during the aircraft flight, descent or on landing.
- Parachuting is done at the parachutists' own risk. Any person parachuting, training to parachute, flying in any aircraft being used for parachuting or participating in any activity carried out by Skydive Australia may only do so on the distinct understanding that they do so entirely at their own risk.

There was not one part of the experience that was not first class. I’ve jumped at a few venues with other operators but this was by far the best. All the staff went above and beyond. Personality plus!
