Floating above the Avon Valley at sunrise was pure magic. The world felt so peaceful, and the golden light over the rolling hills was breathtaking. Definitely a bucket-list-worthy experience!
What you can expect
Gear up for a breathtaking adventure at Northam Airfield! As you arrive, enjoy some hot tea and coffee to kickstart your day, as your pilot briefs you for an unforgettable experience. Head to the launch site, where you can even assist in inflating the balloons.
As dawn approaches, lift off into the sky, witnessing the world awaken beneath you—undulating hills, farms, streams, and forests. After a majestic flight, the retrieve crew takes you back to Northam.
After your flight, indulge in a sumptuous breakfast and champagne with a view of the river. From fruits, cereal, and pastries to a full-cooked breakfast, your appetite is in for a treat.

- Flights run daily subject to availability and minimum numbers between early April and late November
- Flights do not operate during the warmer months of December to March due to unsuitable weather conditions.

- Dress according to the weather, casual comfortable clothing is advised
- Shoes must be flat, no high heels or open toed shoes permitted

- People who have had recent back or leg injuries should consult their doctor before flying
- This experience is not permitted for those who are pregnant
- In the case of strong winds or heavy rain your flight may be cancelled and rescheduled for a later date. If your flight is to be cancelled you will be contacted by 1pm the day before your booking

- Changes are not permitted within 7 days of your experience
- Late arrivals or no shows may result in you forfeiting your experience
