An adventure not to miss
My partner and I thoroughly enjoyed our Swan Valley wine tour. The all female boat crew were fabulous and entertaining. The cruise up the Swan River was very relaxing and interesting. We enjoyed a delicious platter with enjoyable wines that complimented the food platter. We went a fantastic winery where we enjoyed a wine tasting. On our journey back to Perth we were entertained by the female crew.

What you can expect
Relax, sit back and enjoy the Perth CBD skyline views and picturesque landscape as you escape the city and cruise leisurely into the upper regions of the Swan Valley. As you cruise up the river, enjoy a delicious shared platter lunch on board the boat with wine.
Upon arrival in the Swan Valley, you will disembark the boat and join a coach tour operated by Swan Valley Tours. Indulge with a shared cheeseboard and wine tasting at Lancaster Winery. Then get your chocolate fix at the famous Margaret River Chocolate Company (in the Swan Valley).
Swan Valley Tours will then bring you back to our departure point on the Swan River, where you will hop back on board our vessel for your afternoon cruise back to Perth City. All-inclusive wines are waiting for you once the bar opens at 3:15 pm, with cakes, tea and coffee, and live entertainment, as you cruise the peaceful upper reaches of the Swan River back to Barrack St Jetty.

- Summer weekend dates are particularly busy and should be booked at least two weeks in advance
Departure Location
- Captain Cook Cruises operates from Piers 1, 2 and 3, Barrack Square, Perth. Barrack Square is located at the end of Barrack Street on the Swan River.
- Barrack Square is situated at the end of Barrack Street on the Swan River. If driving, we recommend parking at the Terrace Road Car Park. This is an easy 5 minute walk to Barrack Square. Please allow ample time for parking. By public transport, the number 19 Blue Cat bus arrives every 7 minutes at Barrack Square from many stops in the Perth CBD area. Perth trams also drop off regularly at Barrack Square
Terms And Conditions
- The boat is accessed by stairs, so guests must have the ability to ascend and descend stairs
- 1 day advance purchase is required
- In the event of rain or inclement weather, your experience will still go ahead unless contacted by the experience provider
- Children should be accompanied and supervised at all times by a paying adult
- Due to safety concerns we no longer permit infants 0-3 years on our wine tours
- Alcohol will only be served to guests over 18 years of age
- Dietary requirements should be advised upon booking
- On board the cruise is a full cash bar
- This cruise will depart at 9.45 am and conclude at 4:45pm
- Weekend bookings should be made at least 2 weeks prior during summer
- Tours will operate during rain and inclement weather, unless you are contacted by the provider and advised otherwise
- Those using public transport should catch the number 19 Blue Cat bus. This arrives every 7 minutes at Barrack Square from a number of stops in the Perth CBD area. Perth trams also stop frequently at Barrack Square
- After this experience has been confirmed, any changes should be organised directly with the experience provider and will be subject to the discretion of the provider in accordance with this policy:
- Rescheduling - Over 72 hours prior to the experience date: No Charge. Within 72 hours of the experience date: Rescheduling is not permitted
Cancellation Policy
- Change your booking up to 48 hours before the start time of your experience
- Changes are not permitted within 48 hours of your experience
- Late arrivals or no shows may result in you forfeiting your experience
