Experience this spectacular two hour cruise witnessing one of Australia’s largest wild fur seal colonies situated on Seal Rocks, 2kms off the rugged south west coast of Phillip Island. This amazing eco-cruise takes you along the scenic coast of Phillip Island to Seal Rocks, where your skilful captain will manoeuvre the boat amongst the rocks where thousands of fur seals play!
Your crew will meet you at the northern point of Phillip Island, where you will be boarding one of their modern cruisers. As you depart the jetty, you are welcomed onboard, introduced to the cruise rangers who take you through a few safety demonstrations and tell you a little about the itinerary of the days cruise. On the way out to Seal Rocks, you will learn about the history, flora and fauna of the Island as special points of interest are past.
Then as you get closer to Seal Rocks, you will start to feel the sensation of going over the long swells that come in from Bass Strait. On the most south-westerly point of Phillip Island, you will stop for a look at the great Nobbies Cave for a photo opportunity, then head out across the waters to Seal Rocks where you are drifting amongst thousands of seals.
The boat drifts within metres of thousands of seals, enabling you to witness their natural environment first hand. It is impossible not to be captivated by these naturally playful and inquisitive animals who regularly approach the boat for a closer look at you. After about 20-30 minutes with the seals, you'll embark on the return trip.

Lovely day out
We had a great time! The crew were all lovely and very accommodating. I took some motion sickness tablets ahead of time just to be safe and had no issues thankfully. We were lucky enough to see some dolphins on our trip which was awesome and enjoyed seeing the seals of course too! Would go again!!
