Last week I did the Baird Bay Sea Lion & Dolphin Experience and it was one of the most wholesome, relaxing things I’ve ever done. Being in the ocean with them in their natural habitat felt peaceful. Playful, curious, beautiful creatures. Truly filled my cup, already saving to go again. ❤️

Had an amazing experience, lovely friendly & educational staff, the whole experience ran very smoothly. Greatful to the staff that took us to high visibility spots as my last experience wasn’t the best in KI. This definitely made the experience 10 times better!

What you can expect
Immerse yourself amongst the local Baird Bay marine life as you set out for a thrilling half-day scenic cruise with a twist. Snorkel, swim and photograph wild sea lions and dolphins as you meet them in their habitat. Guided by experts, in a small group of no more than 20, allowing you the opportunity to get up close with these stunning creatures without clusters of people around you.
Cruise on the pristine Eyre Peninsula waters and come face-to-face with some of the most intelligent marine mammals on earth. Begin your journey with a short cruise to Jones Island, home to the local sea lions and wait for them to come forward. Respecting them in their natural habitat and joining them in their aquatic playtime. Next, head across the bay for the opportunity to swim alongside the majestic dolphins, capturing a once-in-a-lifetime thrill. Conclude your immersive adventure with a regionally inspired meal, freshen up with a warm shower on board and reflect on the day's epic activities.

- This is a seasonal experience, operating from October to April.
Time
- Please arrive 45 minutes prior to departure
- Morning tour departs daily at 9.45am, excluding block-out dates
- Afternoon departures are available depending on demand

- This is a half-day experience, approximately four hours in total duration.

Terms And Conditions
- All participants must complete a fitness questionnaire and waiver
- Participants must have a reasonable level of fitness
- Guests must be in good health and have a basic swimming ability, and must notify the experience provider of any known weaknesses in these areas
- Swimming participants will be asked to complete a basic medical form prior to entering the water
- Participants are responsible for their own safety and must adhere to instructions in the safety briefing by the experience provider
- The experience provider accepts no liability for any loss of personal belongings during the tour, nor any injury arising from a contravention of instructions in the safety briefing
- The experience provider reserves the right to revoke swimming permission from any participant who does not adhere to the above responsibility and environmental guidelines, without a refund
- The experience provider reserves the right to cancel or change scheduled tours at any time due to unsuitable weather, safety concerns or other reasonable considerations, without liability beyond the price of the booking.
- For changes or cancellations made by the experience provider seven days or less from the scheduled experience, participants may choose between a full refund or reschedule
- Guests with mobility limitations are welcome to participate in the sightseeing tour (sold separately)
- Minimum of two and a maximum of 20 participants
- Not available from 1 July to 31 July each year
Cancellation Policy
- Change your booking up to 14 days before the start time of your experience
- Changes are not permitted within 14 days of your experience
- Late arrivals or no-shows may result in you forfeiting your experience

I met the best things on SA' swest coast
The experience was 11/10. Awesome staff and the sea lions and dolphins came out to play. Lunch and drinks was sourced from fresh local produce, topping off a memorable morning
