Become friends with the beautiful zebra sharks in this 20-minute private session at the marine-life conservation centre in Port Stephens. This encounter with very limited guest numbers will get you close to these friendly animals while they are being fed. Stand still and watch them come closer to you. Learn about this endangered species with their striking dotted skin pattern. This unique interaction is informative and immersive and will get your heart pumping.

Afterwards you can head over to the two shallow water lagoons, home to a variety of rays and smaller sharks. You can step into the enclosure and gently pet them. You will receive some food as well to attract the animals and get a closer look at them. Terms And Conditions

Suitable for all ages, however this is an intimate, gentle encounter with the zebra sharks
May not be appropriate for very young children who are unable to sit still for extended periods of time
Children under the age of 12 must be accompanied by an adult in the water at all times
An adult ticket must also be purchased for the supervising adult
Spectators may watch the encounter with a valid entry ticket, but they must not enter the water during the encounter
Operates in all weather conditions
Shoes must be worn except when inside the water - socks provided
Swimwear is not needed for the shallows encounter, shorts or skirts (or pants you can roll up) are recommended
Wetsuit provided for private zebra shark encounter
