Hear the wheels hum, feel the pull of gravity, and drop into Cardrona’s purpose-built mountain cart trails for two full hours of unlimited laps. You’ll ride the lift to the top, point the cart downhill and carve your way back to the base before loading up again for another run.

Choose your line across three different tracks. Skyline is wide and confidence-boosting, with sweeping Queenstown views and room to practise smooth drifting. McDougall’s is faster and more twisty, with lots of tight corners, so you’ll have more fun if you steer smoothly and react quickly. For the longest ride, A Real Journey runs for 2.5 kilometres, mixing fast sections and fun features before finishing with a smooth cruise back to the lift.

Swap trails whenever you want, build speed as you go, and finish the session buzzing.

Guests under the influence of alcohol or drugs will not be permitted to ride
Carting while pregnant is not recommended
Maximum combined rider weight per cart (single or tandem) is 110kg
You must be in good physical health with no back or physical limitations that affect control of the cart
If you have a current, previous or recurring injury that could be impacted by a bumpy ride, participation is not recommended
Minimum age is 8 years old
Minimum height is 100cm
Maximum weight is 110kg
