Your adventure begins with a picturesque cruise across Lake Whakatipu aboard either the historic Vintage Steamship or the sleek Spirit of Queenstown catamaran, setting the tone for an unforgettable day in the great outdoors. After arriving at the farm, you’ll meet your friendly guide and horse before heading out into the stunning high country terrain.
Ride through rolling farmland trails towards an incredible lookout point where panoramic views of Lake Whakatipu and the surrounding mountain ranges unfold before you. Designed for first-time and novice riders, this easy-paced trek delivers the perfect balance of comfort, scenery and adventure. Once back at the stables, recharge with a delicious morning or afternoon tea at the Colonel’s Homestead Restaurant, then take time to wander through the beautiful gardens and charming farmyard before your relaxing cruise back to Queenstown.
