What you can expect
Take a wild ride on Queenstown’s newest high speed hydro thrill ride. The semi submersible shark is part stunt plane part torpedo with the ability to dive under the water, blast into the air and perform tight G force turns and side rolls. This is the first watercraft of its kind in the world and your pilot will take you to speeds of 80kph on water and 40 kph underwater. The exhilarating adrenaline ride seats one passenger with rides lasting 15 minutes. Step into the watercraft for a hot lap and choose your thrill level with the pilot tailoring the experience for a sightseer or a wild adrenaline seeker. Jump, dive and speed your way over and under Queenstown Bay on this unique aquatic adventure currently not offered anywhere else in the world.

Time
- Time slots available every 20 minutes from 9am to 5.30pm in Summer and 9.30am to 4.30pm in Winter
- You must check-in at the Hydro Attack kiosk at least 10 minutes before your trip time
- Please call if you're going to be late as trips need to depart on schedule
Duration
- 1 Passenger (1 shark) - Please allow up to 25 minutes from check-in
- 1- 2 passengers (2 sharks) - Please allow up to 30 minutes from check-in
- 3-4 passengers (2 sharks) - Please allow up to 45 minutes from check-in

- Hydro Attack Kiosk on the Queenstown lakefront is located by Perky's Floating bar and Earnslaw Park in central Queenstown
Departure Location
- Hydro Attack, 50 Beach St, Queenstown 9300. Check in is at the kiosk in front of Patagonia Chocolates by Earnslaw Park.

Additional Information
- The minimum age to ride in the shark is 6 years old. A Parent or Legal Guardian must complete a waiver form for all children 17 years and under riding
- Rides in the shark are subject to a weight restriction of 105kg (231 pounds/16.5 stone) and height restriction of 193cm (6ft 4′). Hydro Attack reserve the right to cancel any trip if the passenger safety is at risk due to the customer exceeding the weight or height restrictions
- Trips are weather dependent – Hydro Attack’s operation can be affected by high swell on the lake, heavy rain or stormy conditions and Hydro Attack reserves the right to modify trip times and cancel trips at their sole discretion. A full refund can be given for trips cancelled by weather when the cancellation is verified by Hydro Attack

- There is only room for one passenger in the craft at a time
- The minimum age is six years old
- Maximum height 190cm/6' 3"
- Maximum weight 105kg/230lbs
- Photos and DVD of the trip are available to purchase on the day at an additional cost
- Handheld personal cameras and video cameras are not permitted
Cancellation Policy
- 24 hour cancellation and amendment policy applies.
- A full refund will be given with at least 24 hours notice.
- No refunds/changes/transfers with less than 24 hours notice.
- No refunds will be issued for no shows
