What you can expect
Push your limits at the Nevis Playground with two extreme experiences designed to hit fast and hit hard. From the world’s biggest swing to the explosive power of the Nevis Catapult, this is a full-spectrum adrenaline rush in one unforgettable session.
Start high above the canyon on the Nevis Swing. Released from 120 metres, you will drop and accelerate across the valley at speeds of up to 120 kilometres per hour, combining vertical freefall with a sweeping horizontal rush. Then it is time to launch. The Nevis Catapult fires you 150 metres out across the canyon floor at 100 kilometres per hour in under two seconds, pulling up to three G’s as you surge forward. It is intense, rapid, and unlike anything else in the world.
With transport from Queenstown included, plus a participation t-shirt and certificate, this combo delivers maximum action from start to finish.

Time
- Trips depart daily from 8.40am to 2.40pm

- Check-in is required 30 minutes prior to departure

- Allow approximately four hours for the full experience, including pick-up and drop-off.

What To Bring
- Dress warmly (long pants and long sleeves are recommended)
- Wear secure, covered footwear (please do not wear ugg boots)
Terms And Conditions
- Catapult minimum age is 13 years (children aged 14 and under must be accompanied by an adult); maximum age is 110 years
- Swing minimum age is 10 years
- Catapult weight must be between 45kg and 127 kg; swing weight must be between 35kg and 220kg
- Cameras must be securely attached if taken to the jump pod or used during the experience
- Camera use is at your own risk and subject to crew approval
- The activity site is on private land and cannot be accessed by self-driving
- Transport is via the Swing Bus from central Queenstown, including a 4WD journey along a narrow gravel road
- Participants should be well rested, hydrated, and have eaten prior to the experience
- Advise the crew of any medical conditions, including high or low blood pressure, heart conditions, epilepsy excluding photosensitive epilepsy, fractures, fragile skin, neurological disorders, diabetes, asthma, prosthetics, anxiety or panic attacks, or recent injuries
- Pregnant participants and those with photosensitive epilepsy cannot take part under any circumstances
- A doctor’s certificate is required for osteoporosis, scoliosis, or a recent concussion
Cancellation Policy
- Change your booking up to 48 hours before the start time of your experience
- Changes are not permitted within 48 hours of your experience
- Late arrivals or no-shows may result in you forfeiting your experience
