Was a really great adventure. I was apprehensive at first, but our pilot was so confident, calm and had years of local and international experience. I felt at ease and just enjoyed the spectacular views.
What you can expect
Victoria’s King Valley – with its cascading waterfalls and majestic mountain ranges – is home to award-winning vineyards. This is your chance to see all the Valley has to offer… from a bird’s eye view. Greet the dawn with this romantic Sunrise Hot Air Balloon Flight and watch the sun rise as you float above the clouds and take in the Valley’s vineyards and High Country. You’ll meet before first light for your safety briefing and, after your adventure, will finish your morning at the award-winning Brown Brothers Vineyard – where the Brown Brothers family have been making wine since 1889. Duration
- Please allow between 3 and 4 hours total for this experience
- The meeting time is before dawn and the time varies with the sunrise time and is usually around 45 minutes before first light
Departure Location
- The experience departs from the Historic Barn, Brown Brothers Milawa Vineyard, 239 Milawa-Bobinawarrah Road, Milawa, Victoria 3678. Free parking is available.
What To Bring
- A cap, beanie or hat as the burners generate radiant heat
- Closed footwear
- Rug up – be sure to wear lots of layers
- Minimal baggage is allowed on board the flight. Extra bags and items of clothing can be left on the bus or with the crew
- Large camera bags are discouraged
Additional Information
- All tickets are transferable to other individuals. The provider must be notified by telephone or email of any transfer prior to the flight date, detailing the replacement passenger’s full name, phone number, email address and weight. If within 72 hours of the flight they must be of similar or lesser weight to you.
- Minimum group size is 4, maximum group size is 16.
- Non-flying partners are welcome if you advised beforehand. They will need to follow the pilot and crew's guidance and instructions. Note: some launch and landing areas have restricted access.
- Some conditions such as rain, fog or difficult winds are unsuitable for ballooning. In this case, your flight will be cancelled and you will be contacted to reschedule for a later date.
Terms And Conditions
- Passengers must be aged 6 years and above
- Phones can be used for photography. Large camera bags are discouraged
- Minimal baggage is allowed on board the flight. Extra bags and items of clothing can be left on the bus or with the crew
- It is recommended that passengers arrange their own insurance provisions in case of unforeseen circumstances
- This experience is not suitable for pregnant women.
Cancellation Policy
- Change your booking up to 7 days before the start time of your experience
- Changes are not permitted within 7 days of your experience
- Late arrivals or no shows may result in you forfeiting your experience
