Rottnest day trip
This tour has been rated with a 3 as it was a little underwhelming. The ferry across and back was fantastic, the crew great and went over and above. The tunnels and guns tour was spectacular, with the volunteer guides a wealth of knowledge. The lunch was fresh and fine. Unfortunately on the island, the train did not run for the ride to the tunnels. A bus replaced the train, making the majority of the time on the bus, although this was not utilized well at all. We drove the length and breadth of the island, saw from the bus every single beach but were told there's not enough time to get out and see the lighthouses. A suggestion would be to cut the number of nice beaches viewed from the bus. Include a 'get out and see' one of the lighthouses and a couple of the spectacular beaches and perhaps even get to dip our toes in the pristine water!
