Great day, great communication from Adrenaline team when whale watching had to be cancelled due to high seas. The team rebooked me straight away with no fuss. The ship's crew were fantastic and made sure the ship was positioned to get the best views whilst maintaining safe distance from the whales.
What you can expect
Merimbula is arguably one of Australia's best whale watching spots and with good reason as tens of thousands of humpback whales pass by the area as part of their annual migration from the Great Barrier Reef to Antarctica. This two hour adventure on the NSW Sapphire Coast is the perfect way to see these incredible creatures up close in their natural habitat. Starting at Merimbula Public Jetty, you'll hop aboard a large tourist vessel where you'll be welcomed by a friendly and professional crew with over 19 years of experience, knowledge and passion for whales.
Depending on the time of the year, you'll be able to quickly spot them playing right in Merimbula Bay within minutes of departing out to sea or wider out where they're lunge feeding. The sight of these creatures performing exciting tricks and splashing about, swimming by with their calves or even just calmly hanging around is a magnificent sight to behold! Enjoy the day with an open mind and an adventurous spirit, as there's lots of fun to be had!
