What you can expect
Witness the majestic beauty of migrating Humpback whales during the Southern migration on a 90 minute whale watching cruise from the South Coast. Depart from Shell Cove and venture out into the ocean to experience the magic and wonder of whales on their annual migration past Australian shores. On this action packed whale watching adventure, you'll discover some fascinating facts about the lifecycle and characteristics of Humpback Whales.
During the Northern migration, cruises will travel further out to the ocean to catch a glimpse of the whales as they travel north to sub-tropical waters to mate and give birth. On the Southern migration, passengers will be treated to sightings of mothers with their calves swimming closer to shore as they teach and nurse the young on the journey back to Antarctica. Whale watching cruises are available from May to November, don't miss out!

- Please meet at The Salty Squid. Cafe is located at 9 Marina Drive Shell Cove
- Check in is 30 minutes before departure time. Boarding starts 15 minutes prior to departure
- Please do not be late as vessels must depart on time
What To Bring
- Please bring warm clothing to be warm as it can be cool out in the open waters, and non-slip footwear

- This experience is not recommended for women that are more than 24 weeks pregnant
- This experience is not recommend for people with back injuries
- This experience runs with a minimum of two passengers and maximum of 48 passengers
- If wind and sea conditions are not favourable, the experience provider will notify customers via mobile phone number provided on their booking or email. Customers can reschedule to another day

Great morning whale spotting
Even though it's the tail end of the migration north, we got to see a few whales. A nice numbers of whale watchers aboard, a humourous captain and a very helpful Deckhand/Tour Guide. Rest assured I will be back for the return migration and beyond.

Excellent hosts,epic experience
It was an amazing experience with my daughter who has autism ( & our other guests with special needs )the hosts made the trip a memorable occasion which was much appreciated. My girl kept making whale noises all the way home lol.Once again special THANKS 😊 to our hosts

We had an amazing time on the water with Shellharbour wild. We had fur seals and dolphins on out trip as well as the breaching baby whale.
