Jet Car Drive, 30 Minutes - Hawkesbury River - For 2

Fire up your own jet car for a 30 minute blast for two along the Hawkesbury River, with no licence and no experience needed. Meet your guide at the old Brooklyn railway bridge for a full safety briefing and induction, then slide beneath the railway and freeway bridges before the throttle opens and the water starts flying.

Tear past Peat Island and Milson Island, swing around Bar Island and push up towards Spencer, with towering sandstone cliffs walling in the river on both sides. Between the open straights, carve into the twists and turns as your guide leads the pack, mixing raw speed with the kind of handling that keeps you grinning. Scan the banks for pelicans, herons, ibises, spoonbills, ducks and river hens working the shallows beside you.
