What you can expect
Grab your wingman and prepare for the ultimate aerial combat experience over Sydney’s iconic Northern Beaches. Your mission begins at Red Baron’s hangar at Bankstown Airport, where you’ll receive a full safety briefing and suit up before heading to the aircraft. Taking off in close military-style formation, you’ll track over Sydney Harbour, passing landmarks such as the Opera House, Harbour Bridge and Sydney Heads before turning north along the coastline. Once over the ocean, it’s time to engage. With thick white smoke trailing both aircraft, you’ll take part in a thrilling aerial dog fight, twisting and turning high above the beaches as you attempt to out-manoeuvre your wingman. It’s an unforgettable spectacle for those below, and an adrenaline-charged battle for bragging rights in the sky.
Following the dog fight, the experience continues with individual solo aerobatics in each aircraft. This is where the intensity steps up, with higher G-forces and more aggressive manoeuvres. Or you can simply watch your wingman take it on while you catch your breath. Once complete, both aircraft rejoin in formation for a triumphant return to Bankstown Airport. Flying in the cutting-edge Extra 330LX stunt plane and the iconic Red Baron Pitts Special biplane, you’ll reach heights of 3,000-4,000 feet and speeds in excess of 300km/h. This experience is perfect for thrill-seekers looking for something truly unique - a shared adventure that ends with high-fives on the tarmac and a bond forged through pure adrenaline. Full briefings are provided, including techniques to manage high-G manoeuvres safely.

What To Bring
- You will be suited up in a pilot flight suit, similar in specification to those used by the Australian and US Air Forces.

- Enclosed shoes are required.
- Sunglasses and a hair tie for long hair are highly recommended.
Additional Information
- 48 hours notice is required for a participant change.
- This experience is valid for two people, with each passenger in their own aircraft. Passenger 1 will fly in the Red Baron Stunt Plane. Passenger 2 will fly in the Red Baron Open Cockpit Biplane.
- Friends and family are welcome to accompany you on the day. They can relax in our comfortable flight lounge while you enjoy the experience. They will join you for your mission briefing and photos as you walk out to the aircraft. Spectators can watch your departure and will be there to greet you on landing. After your flight, we’ll play your video on the big screen so you can relive the experience together.
- Red Baron reserves the right to cancel or reschedule flights if conditions may affect the safety of the experience. Safety is always our highest priority. Weather conditions, aircraft serviceability and pilot availability may determine whether a flight can proceed at the scheduled date and time. If your flight is deemed unsuitable to operate, we will contact you to arrange an alternative time. Poor weather conditions may include, but are not limited to, low cloud cover, rain, adverse wind conditions, or forecast temperatures exceeding 33°C.
- If you have any accessibility requirements, please advise the provider in advance so appropriate arrangements can be made.
Terms And Conditions
- All passengers must be in good physical health
- You must be over the age of 14 years to fly; those aged under 18 must have parental consent
- Passengers will not be permitted to fly if they are under the influence of drugs or alcohol
- Passengers are not permitted to carry anything on the flight as loose objects could pose a safety risk
- Avoid alcohol, greasy foods, carbonated drinks and energy drinks before your flight.
- For best results with motion sickness a light meal 1-2 hours before your flight is recommended.
- If you have accessibility requirements please let the provider know in advance so they can make sure to have all the facilities you might require
- Height and weight restrictions apply: 200cm / 110kg for the Stunt Plane & 200cm / 90kg for the Biplane
Cancellation Policy
- Change your booking up to 48 hours before the start time of your experience
- Changes are not permitted within 48 hours of your experience
- Late arrivals or no shows may result in you forfeiting your experience
