Brilliant birthday present

My partner knowing full well my deep passion and love, for everything involving aviation and combustion engines; brillantly and covertly orgiansed this experience for my birthday. From start to finish Dave was incredidlby accomodating, thorough, proffesional and lived and breathed everything T-6 Texan related. The actual aircraft was stunning and lovingly restored, with plenty of history over its long life. Thrilled would be an understatement the full flight experience from start to finish over the Blue Mountains. The sight, sound and feelings were incredible of the Radial engine. Highly recommeded and hope to return for another flight one day

Nostalgia, adrenaline and beauty meet at once!

Norm and Dave run a great operation here. I had an awsome morning out over the Blue Mountains in Miss Fire - an immaculately resorted aircraft giving the impression its just rolled off the assembly line. Dave was the pilot and communication was top notch from booking through to harnessing in. This is a fantastic opportunity to experience nostalgia, adrenaline and the beauty of the Blue Mountains all at once!

What you can expect

Strap in for an incredible flying experience over the Blue Mountains in an authentic WW2 Warbird Plane. You'll be stepping back in time as you step into this aviation legend, and your pilot will take you on an adventurous flight sweeping over Lake Burragorang, with the option to experience some thrilling aerobatic manoeuvres along the way. Sitting deep in the Burragorang Valley, Lake Burragorang is one of the few remaining wilderness areas close to Sydney. Located within the Greater Blue Mountains Heritage Site, there are only two ways onto the Valley - by foot or by air. You now have the unique opportunity of seeing this beautiful wilderness from the air on an exciting adventure flight in a beautifully restored WW2 fighter trainer, the T6 Texan. If you're keen for an even more extreme thrill, you can tell your pilot you're up for some aerobatics during your flight too! See the Lake and the spectacular escarpment walls that surround it from a close perspective that is nothing short of spectacular and enjoy your unforgettable adventure flight.
