What you can expect
Get ready for a taste of real motorsport as you jump behind the wheel of a Formula Ford race car and tackle the Corporate Hill section of Sydney Motorsport Park. These single‑seater machines are purpose‑built for racing, placing you low to the ground in an open cockpit with a six‑point harness, quick‑release steering wheel and close‑ratio racing gearbox. Before taking control, you'll complete two orientation laps with a professional driver to learn the racing line and build confidence.
Then it’s your turn to hit the track with five driving laps in a Formula Ford, feeling every acceleration, corner and gear change as you push your skills further with each lap. Once you've experienced the driver's seat, strap into a two‑seater Formula Ford for two unforgettable hot laps with a professional racer at the wheel. Experience the car's true performance as it attacks corners with over 2.5Gs of grip and charges around the circuit at incredible speed. This is motorsport at its most authentic.

Inclusions
- Drive five laps in a Formula Ford race car
- Two hot laps in a F1-style, 2-seater Formula Ford race car, with a professional driver behind the wheel
- You will be driving on the Corporate Hill section of Sydney Motorsport Park’s Amaroo (South) Circuit
- Driver instruction by real race car drivers
- Coffee, tea and water supplied
- All race and safety equipment provided: helmets, race suits and boots
Duration
- Please allow approximately 2-3 hours for the experience
- Sessions run from 7:30am - 4:30pm, with 2 dates scheduled per month (dependent on availability)
- Booking time will be confirmed by the experience provider
- Please arrive 15 minutes prior to the session start time
Departure Location
- This experience takes place at Sydney Motorsport Park, Ferrers Road, Eastern Creek, NSW. Travelling east or west on the M4, take the Reservoir Road exit.
- Follow the Sydney Motorsport Park signs on the Great Western Highway and turn left into Brabham Drive.
- Once you reach the roundabout at the end of Brabham Drive (near the Alpha Hotel) turn right and follow Ferrers Road around to the gate A entry (formerly gate 7).
- Please arrive 15 minutes prior to the session start time.
What To Bring
- Bring your driving licence (no licence, no driving)
- Closed-toe shoes are essential
- Hat, sunscreen and sunglasses
- Clothes suitable for the weather on the day
- For safety reasons, drivers are not permitted to take recording devices on their drive but video footage is available to purchase on the day
Terms And Conditions
- Not suitable during pregnancy or for participants that suffer from certain medical conditions, consult a medical professional
- Participants must have "P" standard manual driving license and be able to operate a manual gearbox
- Participants will be required to sign an indemnity accepting liability for any damage to the car
- Minimum age is 16 years, and participants under the age of 18 years will require a parent/guardian to sign such forms on their behalf
- The minimum height on this experience is 155cm, and the maximum is 188cm
- Maximum weight is 120kg
- Please contact Adrenaline if you are looking to book more than six months in advance
- This event is an all weather event, and in the event that your session cannot run due to weather conditions, we will reschedule your experience to another suitable date and time. Cancellations are subject to the adventure provider
- Once this experience is booked, it is non-refundable and cannot be cancelled, however changes can be made as per below
Cancellation Policy
- Reschedule your booking up to 14 days before the date of your experience. Reschedule requests inside the 14-day period leading up to your scheduled experience are not permitted.
- Changes are not permitted within 14 days of your experience
- Late arrivals or no shows may result in you forfeiting your experience
- No refunds will be offered on any booked experiences
