Start with a comprehensive safety briefing and basic surfing techniques on the sand before hitting the waves. Our friendly and experienced instructors will guide you through paddling, popping up, and maintaining balance, ensuring everyone feels confident.
Once in the water, practice catching small waves and standing up under the watchful eyes of your instructors. The group setting fosters camaraderie and encouragement, making the learning process enjoyable. After the lesson, relax and unwind in the picturesque Cronulla Beach area, with its vibrant coastal atmosphere and numerous cafes and restaurants. Inclusions
- All equipment including a surfboard suited to your abilities and size and a wetsuit
- For beginners we use soft, stable surfboard which are easy to balance, paddle, stand and surf on
- Professional and friendly surf instruction
- We recommend you bring as little as possible
Time
- Please ensure you arrive on time as you may need to complete some paperwork prior to your briefing
- Lessons take place morning and afternoon most days of the week
- Please give your preferred time and date when booking and we will try to accommodate you
Departure Location
- Cronulla Surf School meets and operates from North Cronulla Surf Club. Depending on the daily conditions, we surf anywhere between North Cronulla and Elouera beaches.
What To Bring
- Bring a swimsuit & towel
- Wear clothes suited to the weather on the day
- Remember to pack your sunscreen and lip balm
- If you are an experienced surfer, bring your beloved board as well
Additional Information
- Come one, come all and learn the basics or improve your techniques all the way to pro level
- We cater for any skill level but participants must be able to swim and feel confident in the water
- Fitness is a definite advantage

Cancellation Policy
- Change your booking up to 48 hours before the start time of your experience
- Changes are not permitted within 48 hours of your experience
- Late arrivals or no-shows may result in you forfeiting your experience
