Open Cockpit flight over Sydney
The Pitts Special was so much fun, the flight from Bankstown Airport to the Northern Beaches really gives you the opportunity to appreciate being in an open cockpit. The aerobatics over the beautiful Palm Beach was exhilarating, especially being upside down with nothing between you and the water. The cherry on top was flying 500ft along the coastline towards Manly. I received my edited video today, I am so impressed with how professional it is, so make sure you purchase this, I can't thank the team at Red Baron enough for such an incredible day, their customer service is 10/10 I can't fault a thing. What you can expect
Climb into the cockpit of an Extra 330LX stunt plane for a 40-minute scenic and aerobatic flight over Sydney Harbour and the Northern Beaches. Suit up in an Air Force-spec flight suit, lock in your headset after a one-on-one briefing and blast off from Bankstown. Soar over Homebush Bay and the North Shore, then sweep across the harbour for a bird’s-eye view of the Opera House and Harbour Bridge. Drop to 500 feet for a low-level fly-by of Manly Beach before tracing the coastline towards Long Reef.
Then it’s your call. Keep cruising for pure sightseeing or crank up the intensity, from gentle barrel rolls and wingovers to loops, hammerhead turns and Cuban eights. Pull up to eight G, hang upside down under the bubble canopy and feel the horizon spin around you. Bold, breathtaking and unforgettable, a sky-high thrill guaranteed to get your heart pounding.

- All passengers must be in good physical health
- Minimum age of 14 years and over to fly; those aged under 18 must have parental consent
- Passengers will not be permitted to fly if they are under the influence of drugs or alcohol
- Passengers are not permitted to carry anything on the flight as loose objects could pose a safety risk
- Avoid alcohol, greasy foods, carbonated drinks and energy drinks before your flight
- To help minimise the risk of motion sickness, eating a light meal one to two hours before your flight is recommended
- If you have any accessibility requirements, please advise the provider before your flight so they can accommodate your needs where possible
- All Sydney Harbour flights are subject to airways clearances from Sydney International Airport
- Maximum height of 200cm; maximum weight of 110kg
- One passenger per aircraft
- Friends and family are welcome to accompany you on the day
- Spectators can watch your departure and will greet you on landing
- In extreme weather conditions, the tour may be cancelled if safety is a concern; you will be contacted by the provider and rescheduled

Unbelievable experience
Unbelievable experience I have never seen Northern beaches like this. OMGGGG Extreme aerobatic experience in a stand plane was one of the best adventurous activities I have ever done in my life. Amir is a master of his craft, explained everything and made me feel so comfortable. Gloria is amazing and organised and made this experience memorable. End-to-end customer experience was amazing, easy and organised. Highly recommend the Smoke and Video package! Do yourself a favour and experience aerobatic flight once in your life. You will not regret it. Thank you Red baron team and I will be back very soon.
