Colo Heights V8 Buggies & WRX Rally, 16 Lap Drive & 2 Hot Laps

The driving experience itself was fantastic and definitely the highlight of the day. Unfortunately, the organisation was very disappointing. We booked the 10:30 am – 12:30 pm session and arrived early as instructed. We completed our driving laps quite quickly, finishing by around 11:00 am, and then waited for our hot laps. At 12:00 pm, we asked the staff member coordinating the drives how much longer it would be. She advised there were two more drivers ahead of us, so approximately another 15 minutes, which seemed reasonable. However, when we asked again at 12:20 pm, we were told there were still another two drivers to go before us and that it would be "about 15 minutes." It was clear there was no accurate tracking of the queue or realistic estimate of waiting times. Our booking was for three people, and unfortunately we had to leave without completing our hot laps because we had planned our day around the advertised finish time of 12:30 pm and had other commitments to attend. The event appeared to be poorly managed. It felt as though either too many people had been booked into the same time slot or additional participants were continually being added, resulting in significant delays. The driving experience was great fun, but the organisation let it down. If we were to book again, we'd probably arrive around 12:00 pm rather than at the start of the session, as that would likely save a considerable amount of waiting around.

We bought this as a gift for 3 family members and every single one of them absolutely loved it! It was well organised, and safety was paramount. Even the family members we took to watch had a chance to buy a lap and join in!

An absolutely thrilling experience and an even better gift for a friend! The difference between what we see on YouTube and what we think we can do from our couch becomes starkly apparent after riding shotgun with a pro for the hot lap after the 12-lap session. It's an eye-opening experience in the most exhilarating way possible. The team is hardworking, welcoming, and just awesome! If you're planning to go, dress warmly for freezing temperatures and don't forget a beanie!
