Experience the thrill of flying in Sydney’s only open-cockpit aircraft as you depart Bankstown Airport and track toward the stunning Northern Beaches. From the moment you become airborne, you’ll feel the wind rushing past as the open cockpit delivers a raw and immersive flying experience unlike anything else. As you climb to approximately 3,500-4,000 feet over Long Reef, the intensity builds. This experience features an intense grade aerobatic sequence, combining powerful manoeuvres with sweeping coastal views. With nothing between you and the sky, every loop, roll and change in direction is felt instantly, creating a visceral connection to the aircraft and the environment around you.
Your experience begins at the Red Baron Hangar, where you’ll be welcomed and checked in before suiting up in a pilot’s flight suit and receiving a personalised one-on-one pre-flight briefing. Friends and family are welcome to relax in the lounge with complimentary tea and coffee while you prepare. Once strapped securely into the cockpit and fitted with a noise-cancelling headset, you’re ready for takeoff. In the air, your experienced pilot will guide you through exhilarating aerobatic manoeuvres including loops, barrel rolls and inverted flight, pulling G-forces ranging from +6 to -3. Each manoeuvre is explained as you go, offering insight into the techniques used in historic dogfights and classic aerobatics. The flight concludes with a return to Red Baron HQ, leaving you with an adrenaline-fuelled experience and memories that last long after touchdown.

The aerobatics flight was truly an amazing experience! The thrill you get from a rollercoaster ride multiplied by a thousand! There is nothing quite like seeing the world while your hanging upside down in the open-cock pit! I''ve never felt such an adrenalin rush!! My pilot was great - kept me informed throughout the whole experience which was really beneficial. Would definately recommend this to others!
Amazing some of those tricks are unreal, the snap turn is the best though, super exciting and if you can handle it don?t hold on.
I would highly recommend this flight to every one. Joel (pilot) was constantly checking how I was doing and explaining what was happening. When I asked to do the hammer head for the 4th time, he did it with no hesitation. I cant explain how exhilirating and amazing this experience was but it will be with me for a long time. Thank you blue skies for one of the best experiences I have had.
