What you can expect
Get out on the water and learn how to stand up paddle board with the help of an experienced instructor. You'll learn the basics or touch up on some existing skills as you glide along the amazing waters of Manly. After the lesson, enjoy one hour of stand up paddle board hire to practice your newfound skills.
Located on the beautiful North harbour of Manly, you will be guided through all the key areas of the sport with experienced instructors. You will learn safety on the water, how to carry equipment, basic paddle strokes and turns, correct stances and how to use the paddle for stability. After the lesson, you'll enjoy one hour of general hire to make sure you get the most out of your paddle board experience on Sydney Harbour.

Time
- This experience runs 7 days a week and can be booked Monday-Friday 9am-5pm and Saturday-Sunday 2pm-5pm
- Bookings are subject to instructor availability
Duration
- This experience runs for 2 hours, with one hour of tuition beginning on the beach followed by one hour of general hire
Departure Location
- This lesson departs East Pier, Manly Wharf, Manly NSW 2095.
- If you are catching a ferry into Manly, simply turn right after getting off the ferry and meet your instructor in front of Manly Wharf Bar.
- If you are driving, Wentworth Street Carpark is recommended and it is a 1-minute walk towards the Wharf from there.
What To Bring
- Prepare to get wet - wear your swimmers with a rash vest or t-shirt
- Shoes that you are happy to get wet (thongs or sandals are fine)
- Sun protection - sunscreen, hat, sunglasses
- Dry clothes to change into afterwards
- Drinking water

- Basic instruction is provided so previous experience is not required
- A good level of fitness is helpful as this is a physical activity
