We arrived and were greeted by our friendly pilot. He was really easy going and friendly, offering to wait patiently while we took plenty of photos. The experience ran smoothly and he was very informative, but also gave us the option to just enjoy the experience without the commentary. We both enjoyed it so much!

The most uniquely exciting feature of a seaplane is taking off right from the water - there’s nothing quite like it! You’ll start your adventure at Rose Bay and make your way over Sydney Harbour. This is Australia’s most iconic landscape and nothing beats the panoramic aerial view from the plane. From Sydney Harbour you’ll keep flying along the coast at about 500 feet, watching where the swell crashes against the sandstone cliffs. When you reach Bondi Beach your pilot will manoeuvre the aircraft to give everyone on board a great view of the world-famous beach.

Then it’s time to head back to the harbour and climb to 1,000 feet for a more thorough look at the sights. You’ll complete circuits above our most famous landmarks: the Sydney Harbour Bridge and Opera House, and look over the boat-speckled harbour below as you enjoy the best view in the city. On descent back to Rose Bay your pilot will point out the beautiful houses of the rich and famous before gliding gracefully over the waters surface to land. The aircraft is an immaculately restored, classic Beaver seaplane that both rides and looks like a dream. Your scenic flight experience will be extraordinary from start to finish.
