These 5 Summer Adventures Won’t Last Long

We've just dropped a whole lot of adventures that will make your summer. Leaving you better than when you started, these are the 5 adventures you don’t want to miss. But here’s the catch: spots are limited, so lock them in while you can.

Kayak the Noosa Everglades

Ever wanted to visit another world? Join this guided kayak tour of the Noosa Everglades and see one of only two everglade systems on Earth. It’s one giant network of lakes, creeks and wetlands, with the tea-coloured water that will actually turn your skin red and wildlife everywhere. Think echidnas, flying foxes, kangaroos and more.

Summer’s prime kayaking weather, and it’s peak season for migratory birds, so expect to see and hear rare species. Lunch is also part of the tour, so you’re all set for a day of adventure.

Overnight Great Barrier Reef Stay & Snorkel

The ultimate way to see the Great Barrier Reef is by spending a night on it. This snorkel and stay trip will have you snorkelling and swimming with fish during the day, then chilling on a pontoon under a sky full of stars in the evening. Temps don't usually go below 24 degrees Celsius at night, making summer the best time to do it.

Food, drinks and all your gear are sorted, so all you need to do is just pack a bag. There aren’t a lot of places that let you sleep out on the reef, so jump on the opportunity while you can.

Jet Ski Around Bunker Bay

This new jet ski tour in Bunker Bay is everything you want your summer to be. You’ll rip across turquoise waters, go past sandy white beaches, duck into limestone caves, and cool off with a swim. Then on the way back, you'll ditch the coastline and finish off the tour by sending it in deeper water.

Do it soon while the water is calm. The sea lions and dolphins like to hang around this time of year, and you might spot them while you’re out there.

Do Jet Boating in New Zealand

If you’re looking for things to do in Queenstown in summer, get on a jet boat. It's not every day you're racing down narrow canyons at 90km/h or doing 360-degree spins - and that's exactly the point. Dubbed the world’s most exciting jet boat ride, no further explanation is needed.

It only takes 25 minutes, so you don't need long to get the blood pumping. With trips running all day, you can easily sneak a cheeky ride in somewhere.

Go on a Dolphin and Moreton Island Snorkel Cruise

You don’t need a massive trip to feel like you’re on holiday this summer, and this Moreton Island Cruise is proof. We’re talking paddle boarding, snorkelling the Tangalooma Wrecks and dolphin spotting, all in one day. There’s even fresh lunch served onboard to keep you fueled, so you’ve got everything you need for a good day out.

If you’re not 100% confident snorkelling, the foam noodles are available for helping stay afloat in the water. Get moving, spots won’t be around long.
