As an Advanced Eco Tourism attraction, there are no captive dolphins on display Explore the wild dolphins of Koombana Bay to provide a window into their natural behaviours.

You are guaranteed to see dolphins or you go again for free. During the tour, the guides and volunteers will provide commentary and in water guidance giving you the best experience. You will see lots of different dolphin behaviours that can include playing, hunting, travelling, sleeping and mating. With your tour, you also support Conservation, Education, and Research projects of the Dolphin Discovery Centre Bunbury as an environmental charity. This tour is licensed by Parks and Wildlife Service WA as well as Advance Ecotourism certified for the welfare of the dolphins.

Bookings are essential to avoid disappointment, you must pre-book this experience in advance to guarantee your space. Please also note that this experience runs from November to April (subject to weather and min numbers).

Terms And Conditions

Please note, that the dolphins of Koombana Bay are wild animals. In the event you do not get to see the dolphins, you can participate in another dolphin encounter cruise free of charge within 12 months of your booking
Swimmers have to be confident in open water
Wheelchair access availability to the centre itself. Wheelchair access to the boat depends on how full the cruise is. Please contact the experience provider at the time of booking to check
This experience will still go ahead in the event of rain or inclement weather. If the experience provider does have to cancel the tour due to poor or dangerous weather, you will be rescheduled by the experience provider directly
Children 5 years and under are not permitted
Children Swimmers min aged 8+ years need to be accompanied by an adult at all times, Child Swimmers 12+ years that are confident swimmers can be in the water without a parent

All swimmers must have the ability to tread water, and all swimmers must sign off to a medical checklist
Minimum number of 8 swimmers, and maximum of 20 swimmers, total passenger numbers including Observers and Swimmer is 22.

Change your booking up to 72 hours before the start time of your experience
Changes are not permitted within 72 hours of your experience
Late arrivals or no shows may result in you forfeiting your experience
