Highlights

Battle hard-fighting trout and salmon on a six-hour mission
Roam 192 sq km of alpine water hunting the bite
Fish right through lunch with meals served on board

What you can expect

Lock in six hours of guided trout and salmon fishing on Lake Wānaka, with all gear, lunch on board and a local skipper who lives and fishes these waters. Race out to productive grounds just 15 to 30 minutes from the marina, then work deep basins, island drop-offs and rocky shorelines to find active fish.

Target rainbow trout, brown trout and quinnat salmon in season as your skipper switches between trolling, downrigging, spinning and jigging, with up to three lines in the water at once. First-timers get patient coaching, leaving you free to focus on the strike. Lunch is served on board, so the action never stops. Land a keeper within NZ bag limits, and it’s cleaned and filleted for you, ready to take home!
