Sunrise Eco Wildlife Tour, Full Day - Airlie Beach

Charge out of Airlie Beach at 3am on a full day run south to Cape Hillsborough National Park, where the beach puts on one of Australia’s most famous wildlife shows. You travel in comfort with a knowledgeable guide, bottled water and travel snacks on board, so all you have to do is be ready when the sky starts to lift.

As first light hits the sand, kangaroos and wallabies move down onto the beach to feed, close enough for every photo you came for. Once they melt back into the bush, walk off the early start on a scenic trail with views across to Green Island, then refuel on a drover’s breakfast of bacon and egg damper rolls with tea and coffee. Set the alarm, it is worth it.
