    Have you ever wanted to be a pilot? Would you love to learn to fly a plane? Take to the skies and learn the basics of flying with this Trial Introductory Flight (known as a TIF in the flying industry!).

    Here is your opportunity to get behind the controls of a modern flying training aircraft with an experienced flight instructor.     Soar over the beautiful Mary Valley in the comfort of our ultralight aircraft and see one of South East Queensland’s best kept secrets.

    Rugged mountains give way to gentle undulating farmland where dairy cattle thrive. See Gympie, Queensland’s original Gold Rush town and the beautiful Mary River from your armchair in the sky. 

    On completion of the TIF you will have a de-brief with your instructor. The 30 minute TIF flight time can be logged towards your license. So what are you waiting for? Get up in the air and live your dream of being a pilot for the day!

  • Experience Details

    Fitness and Experience

    • Max weight 120kgs
    • Max height 191cms
    • You must be able to understand and act upon instructions in English
    • You should be able to wear an inertia reel seatbelt
    • Please advise if you have any medical conditions which you think may affect your ability to fly
    • No particular level of fitness is required, however some flexibility is needed to climb in and out of the aircraft
    • No experience is required - you will be in the hands of one of our highly experienced pilots
    • We recommend you have a light meal an hour or so prior to the flight

    What to Bring/Wear

    • Comfortable clothes and enclosed shoes should be worn
    • Sunglasses and a hat are a must
