For three days and two nights, you'll trek through rainforest, sand blows and beaches, visit the iconic Lake McKenzie and Lake Wabby, enjoy countless swimming spots and camp under the stars.

    Fraser Island is the largest sand island in the world and an incredible destination for your hiking adventure. You'll cover about 30km in total over the three days, and be set up with all the maps, itinerary, and instructions you need for your self-guided exploration. Tackle the diverse landscapes from the east to west coast, including lush rainforest, amazing sand blows, beaches, and beautiful freshwater lakes like the world-famous Lake McKenzie and Lake Wabby. Set up camp each evening after a big day of walking and refreshing swim breaks, and enjoy your nights under the stars.

    • A minimum of two and a maximum of six people are included in this tour
    • Available between March and October
    • Hiking on Fraser Island is subject to the Fraser Island Great Walk hiking tracks being open, based on a precipitation level - due to fire safety. This is monitored by Queensland National Parks, as they can close the hiking tracks with little notice especially in the warmer months of November to March. Therefore this hike is only run from March to October to ensure safety and confirmation of tracks.
