    Get ready to reach thrilling heights as you take off on an exhilarating hot air ballooning adventure over the Sunshine Coast Hinterland. You'll spend about 45-60 minutes flying on the wind as the sun rises over the Glasshouse Mountains and rolling paddocks of the hinterland. 

    Meet in the early hours of the morning, where you'll have tea, coffee and a safety briefing before you're transported to the launch site in a 4WD. Enjoy the building anticipation as you participate in the inflation of the balloon and climb into the basket. Then it's time for take-off! Feel the thrill of flying with the wind in a hot air balloon and soak up the views of Queensland's Glasshouse Mountains, Brisbane City skyline to the South, Bribie Island to the East, and Woodford and Somerset Dam farmland to the west. Once you land, you can help back up the balloon if you're keen and you'll be transported back to the meeting point.

    Fitness and Experience

    • Children under 12 must be accompanied by an adult
    • Guests must be able to enter and exit the basket un–aided, and must be able to stand for the duration of the flight
    • Pregnant women are unable to fly
    • There is a surcharge for participants weighing in excess of 150kg

    What to Bring/Wear

    • Clothes suitable for bushwalking
    • Solid enclosed shoes (no thongs)
    • Dry shoes for the drive home is suggested as the grassy paddocks may be wet
    • It is recommended that you don't wear white as you may get dirty
