Discover the spectacular aerial views of Western Australia’s coast from this scenic flight – including the Zuytdorp Cliffs, the tallest part of the coast, Womerangee Hill, and the shallow waters of Shark Bay – before touching down to visit Monkey Mia. You’ll spend 2.5 hours on the stunning white sand at this wild dolphin reserve, watching the bottlenose dolphins playing and being fed.
Begin your scenic flight at Kalgarri and head north past the looming Zuytdorp Cliffs – the sinking place of the Dutch merchant ship in 1712. Fly over Womerangee Hill, the tallest section of the coast at 900ft, then below cliff level for you to view the most impressive details. Fly over the peninsular where the dark blue ocean waters mix with the shallows of Shark Bay before landing at Denham Airport.
A short drive later, you’ll arrive at Monkey Mia, where daily dolphins swim to interact with humans up to 3 times a day. Spend the next 2.5 hours discovering the stunning white sands of the beach, the crystal-clear shallow waters, and most importantly, the intelligent and breathtaking bottlenose dolphins. Monkey Mia is Australia’s only area where dolphins visit daily, and not seasonally. You’ll watch their inquisitive faces as they frolic and play with their friends, and you can even see them being fed!
This scenic flight and experience at Monkey Mia will last a total of 6 hours. The meeting point is at the airport, 11km east of Kalbarri township. You should arrive at least 15 minutes before your scheduled booking time.
