    Get out on the water for a half day sea kayaking adventure around Shoalwater Marine Park and experience the best that the Western Australian coast has to offer. You'll explore the waters around Penguin Island and Seal Island, where you'll be able to see wildlife and marine life up close.

    Meeting at Safety Bay in the morning, you'll be fitted out with a sun shirt, hat, life-jacket and snorkelling gear to get you ready for the day. Then you'll have a quick kayaking lesson on the beach before jumping into the boats and heading out into the water. Look out for sea lions, a pelican colony and fairy penguins along the way as you paddle past rugged islands and pristine beaches. A healthy picnic brunch is included to keep you fuelled up on your adventure around the crystal waters of the marine park.

    Fitness and Experience

    • Minimum age is eight years
    • All children under 18 years of age need to be accompanied by a paying adult
    • For those weighing over 100kg please advise the tour operator at the time of booking

    What to Bring/Wear

    • Swimwear is recommended during the warmer summers months
    • Jacket for September, October, November, April and May if it's a cool day

    • Sea kayaking day adventure (approximately six hours)

    • This tour is available seven days a week from late September to April
    • Departs at 8am and returns to Shoalwater at approximately 1.30 -2pm
    • This tour maybe cancelled due to bad weather - your tour operator will contact you in the evening on the day prior to your booking to reschedule
    • There is a minimum of two participants required and operates with a maximum of 16
