Great day, learnt heaps and most of all the food was amazing!!
I understand that the day prevents a lot of preparation due to the slow cook nature but felt more hands on and details of recipes could have been presented via ded
BBQ smoking class was more like a demonstration. Our chef Ed was knowledgeable and tried to make this engaging, but was a very slow 4 hours. Food tasted nice, learnt some theory on smoking. Wouldn't recommend.
Eric and Cassie from the BBQ School were knowledgeable, patient, entertaining and their enthusiasm for the course and the participants was second to none. Every participant would away with the confidence to start smoking at home. The food was superb, the experience memorable and venue fantastic. I could not recommend this course highly enough.
Really pleased with our day with the American Smoking BBQ class - it was fun, informative and most importantly - delicious!
Lessons are attended by between 12-20 students (plus 2 experienced chefs) and take place usually from 3:30 PM - 6:30 PM.
The class includes all ingredients, light refreshments and a fantastic meal to enjoy together. The classes are both a demonstration and hands on experience to ensure you have the confidence to replicate the dishes at home.
This experience is best enjoyed as a participant. To ensure maximum space and comfort of booked guest we do not have spectators for this experience.
