    Get active and enjoy a kayak tour of Melbourne city at twilight. With all the equipment and guidance you need, you'll see the city from a unique angle, paddle past old and new areas of Melbourne and take in the exciting pyrotechnic fireball display at Crown Casino. 

    Striking off from the city centre on the Yarra River, you'll cruise past old and new areas of Melbourne waterways while hearing vibrant music from riverside venues, hearing stories of the sights you see and watching the sun set over the cityscape. You'll stop for snack and drink along the way, then check out the amazing pyrotechnic fireball display at Crown Casino at dusk. It's the perfect activity for both tourists and locals alike.

    Fitness and Experience

    • Participants must be reasonably active and over 12 years of age
    • Participants must be able to swim 50m non stop
    • Very tall (over 192 cm) and heavy people (over 110 kg) need to notify operator in order to provide a suitable kayak
    • Children 12-15 must travel in a double kayak with an accompanying adult

    • Old running shoes/sandals/wetsuit booties
    • Spray jacket/thermal top (or can be provided if required)
    • Towel
    • Change of clothes for afterwards
    • NOTE: Wetsuits are not suitable for this adventure

    • This experience boards before sunset and lasts for 2.5 hours, including 30 minutes of pack up time
    • Approximate departure times vary based on the time of year: 
    • April to September 5pm
    • October, November and March 6pm
    • December, January and February 7pm
    • Participants are required to sign a waiver and medical form before the activity
