  • Description
    • Feel the adrenaline rush of diving with sharks in Melbourne
    • Suitable for both non-certified or certified scuba divers
    • Swim up close to sharks, stingrays, turtles and other marine life

Getting into the tank with a bunch of sharks might feel like something you intuitively should avoid, but that fear is what makes it so fun. At SEA LIFE Melbourne Aquarium you can get up close and personal with sharks and other intimidating sea life in a totally safe but thrilling shark diving experience.

Whether you’re a fully certified scuba diver or a complete novice, this diving activity is available to everyone - so there are no excuses! To get you ready you’ll have a resort-style ‘introduction to scuba diving’ theory session and some confined water training, all with fully qualified instructors.

Then it’s time to jump into Melbourne Aquarium’s tank for a guided, 30 minute swim with the sharks. Look out for Grey Nurse sharks, Blacktip Reef sharks, Port Jackson sharks, Wobbegongs, groupers, stingrays, turtles, sandbar whaler sharks, largetooth sawfish and more during your adventure. Some of the sharks are up to three meters long, so prepare to feel your heart racing!
